Nvidia players can head to Nvidia Control Panel and change the mode for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order from Power Management Mode to Prefer Maximum Performance as well. In the GTX 10 series, this can be done by setting the Vertical Sync to Fast however you must disable the in-game V-Sync to make it work properly.
Description of Original Problem: I upgrade my pc from 1650 super to AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT Hellhound OC. In games like pubg, apex i have massive fps drops to 7-35 0.1% low fps every 30 sec, but 1% low around 100-130, in game everything low. Good temps (Gpu max ~65-70, Cpu max ~75). SAM enabled. With 1650 super everything works perfect.
The stuttering seams to happen near the entrance to new areas. Because of this I think it must be an issue with loading in new assets. The games I play on UE stream in assets on the fly rather than loading periodically. It seems when the new assets are streamed in my game will drop to 40 fps for a second. This happens almost every 45 seconds.
Jedi: Fallen Order also launched with a fair share of performance issues that developer Respawn Entertainment fixed. It is disappointing there is no simple fix for how to deal with stuttering
Patch 7 seems to fix that by removing ray-traced visual features. As covered extensively in a new video from Digital Foundry, Jedi Survivor ’s latest patch includes big improvements to the game
Everything I press the pause button on Jedi Fallen Order, the frames drop to unplayable levels when I unpause. I've looked at two solutions. Disabling e sync helps with the menu itself stuttering, and async helps with the game overall stuttering, but fixes nothing else, and the frames are just stuck after the pause thing happening.
Any time I get 30% or higher cpu utilization, my CPU hits 70°c or higher with a 360mm liquid cooler and likes to hit peaks of 88°c when the random 100% utilization kicks in. Which seems to be more often lately. Before, the highest I was hitting was 5-20% utilization in games.
*[*PSA] Possible PC Stuttering Fix - Close Steam, Launch Origin, Game Properties > Disable Origin In Game & Cloud Saves. If you meet and/or exceed the recommended system specs but are experiencing hitching and random stuttering, this fixed it for me. Shut down Steam. Launch Origin - X:\Program Files (x86)\Origin\Origin.exe
3. 1. PC Stuttering Fix - Locked 60 FPS! Hey everyone. I have a 4090, 12900K, and 64 gb of DDR5 RAM. The game was a stuttering mess for me initially. I can now get a completely locked 60fps, even in the hub town that is giving everyone issues. The key is to change your display's refresh rate to 60hz, run the game in fullscreen mode, and disable
2qxG.
